The Evaluator is the person responsible for the most important part of the meeting – the feedback session. Do a review of the presentations and discussions and offer feedback to the group where you call attention to their moments of great or astute thinking, and any fallacies or uncritical thinking that you observed. Leave two minutes at the end of your presentation for the group to offer their own comments or to give you feedback.
Time: 10 minutes
We now begin the evaluation portion of the meeting where I will call attention to examples of great critical thinking that I observed during the discussion, and ideas that might need to be examined further. The purpose of the evaluation is to help everyone learn and improve. If at any point you’ve had enough, just let me know and you can respond with your own views or counter-arguments if you wish.
